Senior Developer Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop reference applications and demonstrations that address real-world issues

• Create code-centric content that assists developers in moving from concept to prototype

• Serve as the initial user for new features and API modifications

• Write high-quality technical content to position Deepgram as the preferred choice for voice AI

• Interact with developers across platforms such as GitHub, Reddit, X, and Discord

• Represent Deepgram at events and workshops, spearheading community engagement efforts

• Document procedures and mentor colleagues on content strategies

• Define impact through metrics related to developer outcomes, including sign-ups and community expansion

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Software Engineering or Developer Relations

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or Go

• Experience in building APIs, connecting integrations, and designing clean front-end solutions

• Utilization of AI tools in daily tasks for coding, content creation, research, and automation

• A portfolio showcasing technical writing, blog posts, presentations, or video content

• Experience in engaging or building developer communities

• Capability to clarify complex AI orchestration through effective writing and documentation

• Proactively identify gaps, formulate plans, and drive results independently

• Located on the US East Coast, with the ability to attend and represent at events in the NY metro area

• Willingness to travel around 25% for conferences and team meetings
