Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive design plans for medium and high-voltage substations.

• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Revit) to generate technical drawings.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology is required.

• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation software is necessary.

• A minimum of ten years of prior experience in substation design is preferred.

• Capability to execute civil design drafting in a 3D environment is advantageous.

• Familiarity with SmallWorld and/or ESRI GIS platforms is a plus.

• A strong work ethic and a desire to thrive in a production environment are essential.
