This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Proactively analyzes, tests, and measures enhancements to design operational models, processes, and workflows (e.g. automating tasks, optimizing workflows, creating repeatable methodologies), collaborating closely with the Design Operations team and leadership to balance competing priorities and efficiently deliver impactful results.
• Demonstrates a successful history of collaborating with and influencing product design leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Exhibits a strong ability to lead change, navigate ambiguity, and proactively recommend, drive, and evaluate operational process improvements, from the inception of solutions to their delivery, requiring minimal supervision.
• Creates and executes structured communication plans for programs, taking ownership of driving clarity for initiatives, including anticipating questions and formulating clear responses.
• Manages and oversees program status and health, effectively mitigating risks and removing barriers to support the team, while escalating issues when necessary.
• Evaluates changes in scope and their impact on budget and timeline, communicating effectively with both internal and external partners.
• Delivers status reports and timelines to cross-functional leadership teams, driving clear actions towards achieving goals and objectives.
• Defines and measures the impact of programs both quantitatively and qualitatively, sharing best practices to enhance design operations.
• Facilitates collaboration and continuous improvement of processes and methodologies to strengthen workflows across cross-functional teams.
• Assesses and implements the best tools in the industry alongside other design program managers, researchers, designers, and cross-functional partners to address our increasing need for global collaboration.
• Actively seeks to transform ambiguous opportunities into concrete initiatives and structured projects.
• Highly organized with exceptional writing and influencing skills, along with meticulous attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5-7+ years of experience in design project or program management within a product design organization, with experience across accessibility, content design, engineering, product design, product management, and user experience research disciplines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in collaborating with and developing materials for stakeholders, including Director and VP-level senior leadership.
• A demonstrated record of partnering with a wide range of internal business groups, external marketing agencies, executive stakeholders, and execution partners.
• Ability to delegate tasks across multiple projects and workstreams (resource management, capacity tracking, resource planning, risk mitigation, etc.).
• Familiarity with communication, workflow, and creative asset management systems – such as Jira, Figma, Teams, and similar tools.
• Experience in managing programs and Scrum teams within Agile environments.
