Program Associate, Entrepreneurial Ecosystems & Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist a portfolio of over 40 Kiva Hub partners along with their Capital Access Managers (CAMs).

• Facilitate onboarding, training, coaching, and support for partners as they establish, expand, and maintain community-focused lending initiatives.

• Act as the main point of contact for partner inquiries, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance.

• Assess partner performance and portfolio health, offering proactive suggestions and interventions when necessary.

• Evaluate and underwrite loan applications utilizing Kiva's social underwriting principles.

• Perform fraud checks and conduct pre-disbursement assessments.

• Track repayment performance and implement strategies aimed at enhancing portfolio quality and repayment rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.

• 2–4 years of pertinent experience in program management, operations, community development, customer success, lending, underwriting, economic development, or related fields.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and adept at process management.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders at the same time.

• Experience working independently in a remote or distributed team setting.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Commitment to financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and social impact.

• Capacity to cultivate trusted relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
