This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Develop streamlined processes and systems to ensure our Design organization can scale effectively as it continues to expand year after year without incurring unnecessary overhead.
• Spearhead activities and initiatives that promote a thriving design culture and uphold quality objectives, including all hands meetings, onsite gatherings, and various team rituals.
• Advocate for initiatives that enhance our employer brand and increase the Design team’s visibility through events, content creation, and community involvement.
• Oversee onboarding and enablement: Collaborate with EPD Ops to maintain and update onboarding programs that ensure new designers acclimate quickly and effectively.
• Support tooling and workflows. Manage design tools and collaborate with Procurement to acquire new resources that boost efficiency, foster collaboration, and enhance AI fluency.
• Provide strategic partnership to Design leaders, facilitating discussions and collaborative decision-making on new ideas and initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with our partners to effectively identify and co-create solutions that address team challenges and inefficiencies.
• Work closely with designers, design leaders, and cross-functional partners, while also collaborating with Product Ops, Research Ops, and Eng Ops to support programs and processes across Engineering, Product, and Design.
• 3-6+ years of experience in a design-centric operations or program management position.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Proven high standards for quality, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Demonstrated capacity to influence without direct authority and coordinate efforts across teams, product areas, and platforms to implement new working methods.
• Established ownership of complex horizontal programs, including scoping, sequencing, making trade-offs, and engaging the appropriate partners.
• Ability to reflect, adapt rapidly, and continuously improve in response to shifting priorities and feedback.
• Proficient in anticipating and mitigating risks related to people, processes, and tools.
• A track record of driving operational excellence by enhancing systems comprehensively, rather than simply delivering isolated projects.
