Senior Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Attio’s marketing website from start to finish, ensuring it remains fast, visually appealing, technically sound, and consistent with the brand, product, and business objectives.

• Convert high-fidelity designs into refined, efficient, and accessible web experiences utilizing contemporary frontend technologies.

• Work collaboratively with Studio, Brand, Product Marketing, and Growth teams on aspects such as layout, interaction design, animation, typography, and overall visual quality.

• Spearhead significant website projects from the initial concept to launch, balancing creative aspirations with technical feasibility and timelines.

• Enhance the architecture, tools, and maintainability of the marketing frontend platform.

• Advocate for clean, maintainable engineering practices and provide mentorship to other Design Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing high-quality, production-ready websites using TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Motion.

• Strong frontend engineering expertise centered on performance, accessibility, maintainability, and quality of implementation.

• Exceptional visual sensibility and the ability to interpret design systems, typography, spacing, animation, and layout to a high standard.

• Proficient in working directly within Figma and making informed design choices.

• Experience in designing scalable website architectures, design systems, and workflows.

• Proven history of leading website projects from concept through to delivery.

• Strong judgment in user experience, interaction design, and web best practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and engineers.

• Experience in mentoring other Design Engineers.
