
Senior Deployment Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transition validated technologies and workflows from the laboratory setting into pilot implementations at active production sites.
• Create detailed, scalable deployment guides for hardware setups, modifications to facility layouts, and transitions in labor management.
• Oversee the budget, timelines, and risk assessments for large-scale automation implementations across various distribution centers, ensuring that ongoing customer service levels remain largely unaffected.
• Redesign existing facility processes to integrate new capabilities, such as multi-pass picking, dynamic slotting, and co-mingled inventory strategies.
• Spearhead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives on the warehouse floor to enhance travel distance, material flow, and throughput capacity in conjunction with new automation implementations.
• Develop, document, and provide training for local facility management teams and warehouse personnel on the new operational standards established by Stord Labs.
• Serve as the key liaison connecting the lab’s core innovation team, local facility General Managers, and Stord’s executive leadership.
• Supervise on-site hardware vendor installations, site acceptance testing (SAT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) during both pilot and rollout phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• Over 8 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or complex cross-functional delivery positions.
• Proven experience managing hardware/software integration projects within operational or logistics settings.
• In-depth knowledge of time-and-motion studies, facility layouts (AutoCAD), and physical material flow.
• Strong expertise in supply chain systems, warehouse automation, robotics integration, or fulfillment operations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading vendor management processes, including RFPs, evaluation frameworks, and development of strategic partnerships.
• Strong execution discipline across agile, sprint-based, or similar iterative delivery methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to support rollouts.
