📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Delivery Manager, you will serve as the primary authority on delivery within a cross-functional engagement, overseeing execution from the initial kickoff through to release, while leading distributed teams both onshore and offshore, and acting as the main delivery partner for the client.

• You will oversee the complete delivery of intricate, multi-phase projects, ensuring alignment in terms of scope, budget, timeline, and quality to fulfill delivery commitments and secure successful outcomes.

• Your responsibilities will include facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, and the execution of delivery across one or more cross-functional teams.

• You will manage phased releases, ensuring production readiness and smooth transitions into operations and maintenance models.

• Proactively identifying and managing dependencies, risks, scope changes, and escalations will be crucial to prevent potential blockers.

• You will define, monitor, and report on delivery KPIs, using data to inform decisions, manage delivery health, and guide trade-offs regarding scope, timeline, and budget.

• Supporting QA and UAT activities to ensure quality validation and that outcomes align with agreed acceptance criteria will be part of your role.

• You will adopt an AI-focused approach in your daily tasks, utilizing tools like Claude to improve delivery planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

• Acting as the primary delivery contact for clients, you will cultivate trusted relationships through transparency, consistency, and effective communication, while also identifying opportunities to enhance value within the engagement.

• You will lead stakeholder working sessions, roadmap alignment discussions, and delivery forums with assurance.

• It will be essential to communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs effectively to both executive and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborating with Client Partners to identify expansion opportunities within the engagement (scope, follow-on projects, new use cases) and assist in shaping the future direction will be key.

• You will translate delivery progress into business impacts for client stakeholders (ROI, milestones, decisions), ensuring executives perceive ongoing value, not merely status updates.

• Leading distributed delivery teams across both onshore and offshore locations, you will promote accountability, collaboration, and excellence in delivery.

• You will mentor junior delivery managers by providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities, contributing to their professional development plans.

• A culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and high performance will be fostered across the engagement under your leadership.

• You will contribute to the enhancement of delivery practices, tools, and frameworks across various engagements.

• Assessing the strengths and gaps within your teams will be necessary, and you will collaborate with Client Partners to highlight staffing needs and identify high-potential talent for the firm.

• Conducting executive interviews for engineers, designers, and other roles within your engagements will be part of your responsibilities, and you will play a crucial role in go/no-go hiring decisions across the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software delivery, technical project management, or engineering leadership.

• A solid understanding of agile delivery practices applicable to complex, multi-team engagements (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).

• Experience in managing distributed teams across both onshore and offshore locations.

• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-platform digital systems within agile environments.

• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management abilities.

• Familiarity with delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).

• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and AI-enabled platforms.

• Demonstrable experience utilizing AI tools to enhance delivery planning, reporting, and documentation (e.g., Claude).

• PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., utilities, government, finance) is advantageous.

• An intuitive sense for identifying growth opportunities within an engagement, along with the credibility with clients to initiate those discussions alongside Client Partners.
