Senior Delivery Manager – AI Delivery Rollout

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Define, establish, and continuously enhance best practices for AI delivery within the Delivery Managers community.

• Lead the implementation and adoption of AI-driven methodologies across various projects, programs, and client engagements.

• Provide advice and coaching to delivery teams on leveraging AI tools, agents, and automation to boost productivity and enhance delivery outcomes.

• Measure and monitor AI adoption, effectiveness, and business impact through key performance indicators, dashboards, and success metrics.

• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into governance, reporting, planning, risk management, and project execution.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and delivery leadership to assess AI's impact on software delivery, team structures, workforce planning, and operating models.

• Evaluate AI's influence on roles, responsibilities, skills, and project staffing, and recommend future workforce development.

• Drive organizational change and ensure consistent implementation of AI best practices across teams and client accounts.

• Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and delivery practices related to AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience managing complex IT projects, programs, or portfolios across multiple teams, stakeholders, and delivery streams.

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with project management methodologies.

• Strong background in software development environments and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience with delivery management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Solid understanding of SDLC, release management, software architecture, APIs, system integrations, and microservices.

• Strong skills in governance, stakeholder management, roadmap planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.

• Experience in defining and using KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AI technologies to enhance project delivery, team productivity, decision-making, or business outcomes.

• Proven ability to define, implement, and scale AI best practices across teams, projects, or organizations.

• Strong understanding of Generative AI capabilities, limitations, risks, and considerations for enterprise adoption.

• Ability to assess and influence AI’s impact on delivery processes, workforce composition, operating models, and project performance.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Nice to have: experience in leading AI transformation, AI rollout, or organizational AI adoption initiatives.

• Nice to have: practical experience with AI agents, workflow automation, and AI-powered productivity tools.

• Nice to have: experience in coaching Delivery Managers to adopt AI-enabled methodologies.

• Nice to have: experience in measuring and reporting AI adoption through productivity, quality, and business impact metrics.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AI-assisted software engineering and AI-enabled delivery practices.

• Nice to have: PMP, Prince2, SAFe, Scrum, or similar certifications.
