This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and implement essential algorithms in deep learning, computer vision, and (inverse-)procedural modeling using Python.
• Utilize advanced research in machine learning and computer graphics to address real-world challenges.
• Collaborate closely with our co-founders to grasp the overarching product vision and convert customer needs into technical objectives.
• Engage with remote systems through a Unix shell to deploy and evaluate code on extensive geospatial datasets, ultimately producing 3D content for our clients.
• Employ Git for source code management, breaking down complex implementation tasks into manageable, executable modules.
• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of pertinent industry experience in a dynamic, rapidly evolving tech environment.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Deep Learning Engineer or Applied Research Engineer in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience in fields with intricate multi-disciplinary teams such as robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, or aerospace is highly regarded.
• Proficient in Python, Git, and the Unix shell.
• Established experience in training and debugging artificial neural networks or related skills (e.g., gradient descent, nonlinear optimization, or classical machine learning).
• A robust mathematical foundation encompassing linear algebra, statistics, probability, and numerical methods.
• Preferred experience with modern C++ to connect with data ingestion and product pipelines.
