This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee, prioritize, and actively monitor assigned business opportunities for the current and forthcoming quarters to ensure timely submissions and engagement in deal strategy and negotiations.
• Ensure that sales agreements comply with relevant company policies, procedures, and processes, as well as external requirements (e.g., Government specifications).
• Manage the approval workflow for sales transactions within the IFS Approval Request system.
• Support and provide guidance to the Sales team regarding product configurations and pricing proposals.
• Draft, review, and manage all documentation necessary for sales transactions and their approvals.
• Serve as the primary support for the sales team on matters related to revenue recognition or contracts concerning sales transactions, acting as a liaison with the Finance and Legal Departments.
• Offer interpretation and analysis of existing customer contractual documents.
• Collaborate with all internal business partners involved in the execution and closing of sales transactions, such as Finance, Presales, Legal, Technology Alliances, Partner Managers, Product Managers, and Corporate and Global functions.
• Engage with external clients and vendors at various levels concerning contracts and business-related issues, if necessary.
• Uphold fiduciary responsibility to IFS.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned in relation to the Deal Desk team.
• In-depth knowledge of software licensing and contracting, encompassing perpetual, subscription, hosting services, and SaaS models.
• Proficient understanding of Software & Maintenance revenue recognition criteria and regulations (ASC606 and IFRS15).
• Familiarity with ERP software portfolios and solutions, including IFS products or related ERP software vendors is preferred but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Operations, Contract Management, or Deal Desk environment.
• Proven expertise in a Sales Operations, Contract Management, or Deal Desk setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Agile mindset with a demonstrated ability to multitask and perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Effective presentation skills and the ability to confidently interact with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to act with tact, discretion, and a sense of humor.
• Capability to manage confidential information.
• A university degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred.
• Teamwork, commercial awareness, communication, influencing skills, customer orientation, thoroughness, and flexibility are essential.
• Ability to understand business use cases from strategic to operational levels.
• Proficient in preparing accurate and concise materials.
