Senior DBA, Oracle Apps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee Oracle Apps environments hosted on cloud platforms, such as OCI and AWS.

• Manage Oracle databases utilizing cloud-native administration and monitoring solutions.

• Conduct backup and recovery tasks using RMAN and Hot Backup methods.

• Execute cloning procedures for Oracle R12.2 and 19c environments.

• Handle responsibilities related to Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM), which includes the installation and configuration of the DB Discovery Agent.

• Administer Linux environments, employing shell scripting for automation of tasks.

• Set up External Nodes and configure Reverse Proxy settings.

• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Oracle Apps environments.

• Carry out additional routine tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.

• Familiarity with administering databases on cloud platforms like OCI and AWS.

• Experience with Terraform and Bitbucket.

• Proficiency in cloud-native database management tools.

• Hands-on experience with Linux shell scripting.

• Skilled in backup and recovery techniques, including RMAN and Hot Backup.

• Experience with cloning processes in R12.2 and Oracle 19c.

• Understanding of Enterprise Manager (EM) activities, including the installation of the DB Discovery Agent.

• Experience in configuring External Nodes, including Reverse Proxy setup.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Proficient in advanced conversational English; an interview will be conducted in English.
