Senior Data Steward

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist in data governance and management initiatives related to regulatory reporting processes.

• Detect, assess, and aid in the resolution of data quality challenges.

• Sustain and enhance business glossaries and data definitions.

• Execute and oversee data quality controls.

• Define and document data lineage across pertinent systems and reporting pathways.

• Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Contribute to adherence to BCBS239 and internal data governance protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related positions.

• Background in the banking or financial services sector.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Strong capabilities in data analysis.

• Familiarity with data warehousing and reporting practices.

• Understanding of database architectures.

• Competence in MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Skillful in translating business needs into technical specifications.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• English proficiency: upper-intermediate.

• Desirable: experience in regulatory reporting.

• Desirable: knowledge of BCBS239.

• Desirable: business acumen regarding banking products, systems, and processes.

• Desirable: experience with data lineage frameworks.

• Desirable: experience with data quality frameworks.
