Senior Data Scientist – Operation Research

• We are in search of a Senior Data Scientist who possesses a strong background in data analytics, practical experience in operations research strategies, and proficiency in Pricing Analytics within supply chains, along with excellent coding skills to join our team.

• **Key Responsibilities:**

• - Refactor the Optimization algorithm developed in Python utilizing Object-Oriented Programming principles.

• - Engage with the latest applications of data science to address business challenges in the Supply Chain and optimization domains of Retail and/or CPG.

• - Apply advanced statistical methodologies and data science algorithms to analyze extensive datasets and extract actionable insights related to Pricing Optimization.

• - Design and implement predictive models and optimization algorithms to enhance Pricing strategies.

• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into data-driven solutions.

• - Remain updated on industry trends and best practices in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply chain management, utilizing this knowledge to foster innovation within the organization.

• - Collaborate, mentor, and learn alongside a growing team of seasoned Data Scientists.

⛳️ Requirements

• - A minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, specifically focused on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation.

• - MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

• - Experience utilizing mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools in various applications.

• - A solid grasp of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and concepts related to predictive modeling.

• - Strong proficiency in programming languages including Python, Pyspark, and SQL, along with experience using data analysis and machine learning libraries.

• - Capability to apply diverse analytical models to real-world business scenarios.

• - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively understand business partner needs and deliver solutions while clearly explaining them to stakeholders.
