This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Execute the migration of connections, pipelines, and data consumption processes from AWS to GCP within Wide Data Science projects, utilizing n8n and Lovable.
• Modify queries, integrations, and data processing routines to function in the GCP environment, considering differences in services and SQL dialects.
• Conduct functional testing, consistency checks, and data acceptance testing following migration activities.
• Assist in migrating analytical workloads, applications, and automation pipelines to corresponding services within the GCP ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and MLOps teams to ensure the stability and efficiency of migrated solutions.
• Detect and address performance, compatibility, and governance issues during the cloud-to-cloud transition.
• Document technical processes, data flows, and architectural decisions related to the migration.
• Contribute to enhancements in the standardization, automation, and quality of pipelines and analytical processes.
• Significant experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer in production settings.
• Practical experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS and GCP.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for adapting and optimizing queries.
• Familiarity with n8n and Lovable.
• Experience in data pipelines and integrations across various cloud services.
• Background in testing and validating data consistency during migration processes.
• Understanding of analytic and data services in both AWS and GCP.
• Capability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred: prior experience in migration projects between cloud providers.
• Preferred: knowledge of data orchestration and workflow tools.
• Preferred: experience with observability and monitoring practices for data pipelines.
• Preferred: experience in high-volume data environments and distributed systems.
