This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to comprehend marketing measurement inquiries and convert them into data science challenges.
• Utilize real-world customer data to ensure its reliability and suitability for modeling and measurement purposes.
• Evaluate model and experiment outcomes, explore unexpected results, and pinpoint potential data, modeling, or measurement complications.
• Simplify complex statistical and modeling findings into understandable insights and actionable suggestions.
• Work alongside Senior Data Scientists on intricate methodological and modeling issues.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues in Media Strategy, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to assist clients.
• Recognize recurring challenges and opportunities to enhance models, diagnostics, tools, and processes.
• Develop reusable analysis and diagnostic tools that enhance the reliability and scalability of measurements.
• Contribute to the advancement of new methodologies, models, and production measurement capabilities as the role progresses.
• Clarify statistical methodologies, troubleshoot measurement problems, and convey experimentation outcomes to clients.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similarly quantitative field.
• Over 2 years of experience in building and deploying data science, machine learning, or AI systems in a production environment.
• A solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient coding and debugging abilities.
• Capability to write production-quality code and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack.
• A service-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to customer problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment while driving projects from conception to production with considerable autonomy.
• A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to learn new domains, customer verticals, and measurement methodologies.
• A strong preference for a solid statistical background and previous experience in digital marketing or eCommerce analytics.
• An MS degree is preferred.
