Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Sustain and oversee Machine Learning and Deep Learning models deployed in production.

• Investigate, diagnose, and address issues concerning models, pipelines, and data processing.

• Conduct analyses of model performance, degradation, and accuracy levels.

• Implement ongoing enhancements to existing solutions.

• Manage the publication, updates, and versioning of models.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the operational stability of our solutions.

• Uphold development best practices, documentation, and code governance.

• Support the advancement of architecture and the operation of production models.

• Engage in industrial digitalization projects aimed at reducing energy consumption, enhancing operational efficiency, and aiding the decarbonization efforts of Vetta's clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Advanced Python.

• Experience with Git and code versioning.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning principles.

• Expertise in Deep Learning techniques.

• Familiarity with Computer Vision applications.

• Awareness of key PEPs and best practices in Python development.

• Experience with various Machine Learning and Deep Learning libraries.

• Demonstrated experience working as a Data Scientist.

• Involvement in projects focused on building, training, deploying, and publishing end-to-end models.

• Background in managing models in production settings and providing operational support.

• Experience in analyzing and resolving incidents related to AI models.

• Preferred skills: Databricks, OpenShift, MLflow, YOLO, PyTorch, and ONNX.
