Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop, assess, and implement machine learning models for risk scoring, threat intelligence, and vendor risk evaluation.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within large and intricate datasets.

• Assess and validate models for precision, resilience, and scalability.

• Work alongside product managers and engineers to establish data science requirements and integrate models into production environments.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and adhere to data science best practices.

• Keep abreast of new research and technologies to utilize cutting-edge methods.

• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent professional experience in applying data science to complex challenges.

• Over 5 years of experience utilizing data science and machine learning to address real-world problems.

• Expertise in Python and machine learning/data science libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, MLFlow, and PyTorch.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data pipelines, including AWS or GCP.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, evaluation metrics, and model deployment processes.

• Previous experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or risk scoring is highly advantageous.

• Prior exposure to and interest in LLMs is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of Scala is a plus.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
