Senior Data Science Engineer, Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders to pinpoint significant business challenges and convert them into data science and data analysis initiatives.

• Gather, process, and analyze intricate datasets from diverse sources to detect trends, patterns, and insights that guide business strategy.

• Create and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges, including forecasting, customer segmentation, and optimization.

• Develop and sustain detailed, engaging dashboards and reports tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences using business intelligence (BI) tools.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

• Generate clear, compelling, and actionable data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Design and carry out A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of various initiatives.

• Collaborate with data engineers to construct and enhance data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.

• 3–5 years of practical experience in a Data Scientist or Senior Data Analyst position.

• Strong expertise in Python (including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn), SQL, and PySpark.

• Comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, and decision trees).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to narrate a story using data.

• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems with a structured, analytical, and inquisitive approach.
