• The Senior Data Analyst is tasked with delivering insightful metrics, reports, and dashboards that support our business operations.
• This position necessitates collaboration with fellow analysts, data engineers, data product managers, and business stakeholders.
• It is essential to ensure that data analysis and reporting are accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout their lifecycle, which is crucial for making valid and trustworthy decisions.
• The role involves cleansing data and thoroughly examining computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and correct coding errors.
• Data will be gathered from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party platforms, ensuring the maintenance of databases and data systems.
• The analyst will create and sustain processes to produce accurate and timely reports that enable stakeholders to comprehend and act on key data insights.
• Opportunities for process enhancements will be identified and pursued.
• Engagement with managers will be necessary to define data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their specific business processes.
• Scripts and tools will be designed to automatically extract large volumes of data from websites or other digital sources, enhancing efficiency and availability.
• The analyst will identify, investigate, and interpret trends or patterns within complex datasets.
• Statistical techniques will be employed to analyze data and generate actionable business insights.
• Development of data dashboards, charts, and visual aids will support decision-making across various departments.
• In-depth data analysis will be conducted using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights.
• Management of and updates to databases will ensure they remain secure, accessible, and function properly.
• Coordination with management will be crucial to align business and informational priorities.
• Compliance with OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies is mandatory.
• A strong foundation in statistics along with practical experience using statistical software (such as Excel and Power BI) and proficiency in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R is required.
• Proficiency in creating presentations and data visualizations within PowerPoint is essential.
• Exceptional analytical skills are necessary to compile, structure, analyze, and present large datasets with accuracy and thoroughness.
• The ability to critically assess data to derive meaningful, actionable insights is crucial.
• Superior communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to simplify complex data insights for non-technical audiences.
• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
• A Bachelor's Degree in an analytical or research field (such as Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.) along with 5+ years of experience in data analytics, or an equivalent combination is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a senior analytical role is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System processes is preferred.
• Expertise with Databricks is preferred.
