Deal Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for the Deal Desk with the field sales team, concentrating on enhancing quoting processes and leading educational efforts to promote channel best practices.

• Provide extensive support for Enterprise Quoting as necessary, ensuring a high standard of output.

• Proactively engage in the initial phases of complex deal cycles to offer strategic guidance to account executives regarding pricing strategies, deal structuring, and the selection of suitable contracting vehicles.

• Collaborate thoroughly with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to manage and resolve non-standard or complex transactions.

• Work closely with the Deal Desk Manager to formulate and implement renewal strategies for historically challenging accounts, aligning with the company’s long-term objectives.

• Diligently ensure that all deals comply with corporate policies and are structured to facilitate accurate and efficient downstream processing.

• Enhance and streamline Salesforce booking and fulfillment workflows by effectively coordinating with billing, order entry, and supply chain teams to minimize turnaround times.

• Manage, maintain, and frequently update the Deal Approval Matrix and channel documentation to uphold internal transparency.

• Identify and drive improvements across functions, overseeing the documentation and communication of policy updates and standardized templates.

• Provide continuous support to the Sales Operations team through various projects, bug tracking, and procedural enhancements.

• Maintain high availability and dedication during critical end-of-quarter periods to ensure all pending deals are processed.

• Exhibit a high level of resourcefulness and self-sufficiency, executing complex tasks swiftly and with technical accuracy.

• Act as the team leader and point of contact in the absence of the Deal Desk Manager, offering guidance and support to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in establishing, documenting, and implementing scalable best practices for the deal desk, ensuring seamless integration between strategic deal development and downstream order administration.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in sales support, sales operations, or sales enablement, particularly within the enterprise software or technology hardware industries.

• Demonstrated ability to excel in a global operations environment, including flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate various time zones and critical business cycles.

• Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in Deal Desk activities, including deal modeling, complex pricing structures, and contract vehicle selection.

• Proficiency in Salesforce, with the capability to facilitate and enhance complex booking and fulfillment workflows to decrease turnaround times.

• A thorough understanding of cross-system data integrity and technical accuracy, ensuring that all structured deals support precise financial and supply chain reporting.
