This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design and create solutions that address new functionalities, interoperability issues, vulnerabilities, and system constraints.
• Assess existing capabilities, predict future requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to implement enhancements.
• Investigate, design, and deploy enterprise security solutions that are aligned with business strategies and safeguard organizational data.
• Support and shape change management and security initiatives across designated areas.
• Incorporate security into business processes and evaluate risks linked to new applications and technologies.
• Offer recommendations to mitigate risks while supporting business objectives.
• Act as a security subject matter expert for engineering, architecture, and development teams.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and provide support, which includes participation in on-call rotations.
• Deliver prompt reports and findings to management and leadership.
• Advise on and interpret security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Recognize risk gaps and devise suitable solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and trends, assessing their impact and integrating enhancements into security strategies.
• Lead process improvements that boost quality and efficiency across teams.
• Provide guidance and technical direction on complex initiatives.
• Develop and maintain correlation searches and alerts utilizing various log sources.
• Enhance detection and response capabilities through automation, orchestration, and advanced analytics.
• Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of prevention, detection, and response measures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity engineering and threat intelligence teams to refine security tools and processes.
• Contribute to the formulation of cybersecurity procedures.
• Mentor and train team members.
• Exhibit initiative and accountability in achieving results.
• Over 5 years of IT security experience in domains such as data protection, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and intrusion detection.
• Experience in securing data through Microsoft Purview or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data protection principles for both structured and unstructured data, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for data in transit and at rest.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
