This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute enterprise security solutions.
• Act as the Data Protection Technical Lead / Subject Matter Expert for enterprise security.
• Guide DLP analysts in data protection controls, technologies, best practices, and methodologies.
• Work in conjunction with the Senior Manager of Data Protection to outline and implement roadmap processes and technologies.
• Oversee the creation of processes and tool alignment for data-at-rest initiatives.
• Train data subject matter experts and business technology and application leaders on the identification, secure handling, storage, and transfer of sensitive data.
• Administer DLP policies and set up technical tools in accordance with process requirements.
• Create configuration manuals, operating procedures, reports, and system hardening guidelines.
• Conduct Level 3 / Level 4 incident response and support, including triage, root-cause analysis, next-step determination, and incident resolution.
• Advise on the application and reporting of data protection technology performance metrics.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Extensive knowledge of Data Protection technologies, such as CASB, proxy, network DLP, endpoint DLP, data discovery, key management, tokenization, and encryption.
• Understanding of Information Security, including industry best practices for establishing a Data Protection program.
• Capability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, technical team members, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives with robust tactical execution and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of building trust, transparency, and adaptability within a team setting.
• 7–10+ years of relevant industry experience in Cybersecurity and/or Information Technology (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, Security+, or similar are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework v2.0, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, California Consumer Privacy Act, and other relevant data protection regulations and standards.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention or Security Engineer roles.
• Previous experience in implementing and operating at least three of the following: DLP, CASB, Data Classification, Data Encryption.
