Senior Data Pipeline Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Assist in breaking down complex problems into manageable iterative steps.

• Play a key role in determining the prioritization of your squad's backlog.

• Develop the modern data platform, including data pipelines, integrations, preparation, models, and analytical reporting marts, tailored to business requirements using established design patterns.

• Identify the most suitable tools, methods, and design patterns to fulfill business needs.

• Actively recognize and propose enhancements.

• Prepare data for accessibility via APIs.

• Document, support, manage, and maintain the modern data platform created within your squad.

• Offer guidance and training to downstream data users on best practices.

• Assist in the creation and support of new data APIs.

• Advocate for the efficient use and importance of data throughout the organization.

• Adhere to all company policies.

• Execute any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.

• Familiarity with Data Lakes (AWS Lake Formation, Azure Data Lake).

• Proficient in Cloud Data Warehouses (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake).

• Experience with ETL/ELT/Pipeline tools (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, Stitch).

• Understanding of messaging systems (AWS SNS & SQS, Azure ASQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Proficient programming skills in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.

• Experience with cloud workflow services (AWS Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Camunda).

• Familiarity with event and schedule management (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).

• Knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).

• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, QuickSight, or Mode.

• Knowledge of NoSQL and Graph Databases (AWS Neptune, Azure Cosmos DB, Neo4j) is desirable.

• Experience with API Management is desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to prioritize and manage workload autonomously.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Familiarity with Agile Software Development Lifecycles.
