This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert intricate structured data into user-friendly, actionable, and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
• Cleanse, combine, and organize data from Excel, SQL databases, and CSV files.
• Design, develop, and sustain interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with non-technical program managers and agency leadership to identify reporting requirements and data narratives.
• Produce both static and dynamic visuals for presentations, reports, and testimonies.
• Establish consistent reporting processes and flexible templates.
• Execute data validation and quality assurance procedures.
• Document data models, calculations, and dashboard logic.
• Provide training to end users to enhance data literacy and promote self-service analytics.
• Develop valid, reliable, and user-friendly data collection tools with built-in validation.
• Conduct sporadic observations or visits to locations across the nation.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, education, sociology, social work, psychology, justice, or another relevant social science discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection, management, research analysis, or evaluation.
• Proven experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Power Query.
• Proven experience utilizing SQL for data querying and validation.
• Must be eligible for a Tier II Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated expertise in data visualization or storytelling techniques within educational or human services settings.
• Proven experience creating high-quality, professional visualizations, presentations, products, and/or resources.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working independently to devise innovative solutions for client data challenges.
• Experience in imparting knowledge and enhancing colleagues' skills in data management or visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in developing and delivering presentations along with technical writing.
