Senior Data Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold integration solutions utilizing APIs, messaging, and ETL tools.

• Execute and support integrations using Informatica and platforms such as Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, and Boomi.

• Work closely with both business and technical teams to collect integration requirements.

• Create and oversee RESTful and SOAP APIs for both internal and external use.

• Guarantee secure, dependable, and scalable integration workflows.

• Monitor and resolve integration issues and performance challenges.

• Document integration designs, configurations, and support protocols.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of integration standards and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3–5+ years of experience in integration development, backend development, or API engineering.

• Practical experience with Informatica Integration/Informatica CDI and integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management), MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, and Apache Camel.

• Comprehensive understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs, including their design, development, and lifecycle management.

• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).

• Experience handling JSON, XML, CSV, and protocols like HTTP, AMQP, MQTT, or Webhooks.

• Familiarity with cloud-native integration patterns and hybrid cloud/on-premise connectivity.

• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment of integration components.

• Capability to monitor integration flows, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance.

• Strong skills in documenting integration flows, APIs, and technical specifications.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; adept at working in cross-functional teams.
