Senior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the organization's Data Governance framework;

• Evaluate governance maturity, data quality, metadata, data lineage, and compliance of data assets;

• Establish policies, standards, roles, and a Data Ownership and Data Stewardship framework;

• Implement and enhance data catalog practices, business glossary, classification, and lineage utilizing Databricks Unity Catalog;

• Create data quality rules, monitoring metrics, and remediation procedures;

• Ensure adherence to LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), privacy policies, and the retention and handling of sensitive data;

• Assist in integrating governance practices and documentation into squad deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Data Governance;

• Proven experience in defining and executing Data Governance frameworks, policies, and procedures;

• Proficient in metadata management, data catalogs, business glossaries, and comprehensive data lineage;

• Familiarity with data quality, rule definition, metrics, and incident management;

• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, covering access control, data classification, ownership, and auditing;

• Understanding of LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), privacy, retention, and sensitive data management;

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business and technology teams;

• Proficient in spoken English.
