Senior Data Engineer – Streaming, Big Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain streaming data pipelines and transformations.

• Build and manage a big data platform utilized for real-time network observability and alerting.

• Ensure the platform's availability, reliability, and performance.

• Create and implement monitoring solutions for data pipelines and platform components.

• Support the evolution of the platform, including upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve complex platform and data processing issues.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering.

• Extensive experience with streaming data processing and distributed systems.

• Proficient in big data technologies and real-time data pipelines.

• Practical experience with platform/infrastructure operations in Linux environments.

• Familiarity with containers and modern infrastructure tools.

• Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and platform reliability principles.

• Capability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Experience in telecom or network-related settings (preferred).

• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, ClickHouse, or similar technologies (preferred).

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud/platform infrastructure (preferred).

• Understanding of GDPR, security, and compliance standards in enterprise environments (preferred).
