Senior Data Engineer, Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing contemporary data integration tools.

• Construct and enhance Snowflake data models for analytical purposes and operational reporting.

• Create data transformation processes for business intelligence and downstream applications.

• Design and uphold enterprise data pipelines that integrate CRM, ERP, billing, and other business systems.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and reliability throughout data workflows.

• Build and sustain outbound integrations with enterprise applications and reporting platforms.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the execution of pipelines and query performance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to transform requirements into scalable data solutions.

• Support the advancement of cloud-native data architecture leveraging Snowflake and dbt.

• Participate in code reviews and enhance engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.

• More than 4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing.

• Experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Familiarity with enterprise business data.

• Experience in integrating various enterprise applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Background in Agile methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Advanced SQL proficiency.

• Experience with Matillion or similar ETL/ELT platforms.

• Solid data modeling expertise.

• Experience in designing enterprise data warehouses.

• Proficiency in optimizing Snowflake performance.

• Experience in integrating CRM, ERP, billing, and other enterprise systems.

• Ability to build scalable data pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of data quality, governance, and integrity.

• Experience in translating business needs into scalable data solutions.

• Nice to have: familiarity with dbt, Snowflake-native architecture migrations, SAP Callidus, Xactly, CaptivateIQ, sales or incentive compensation platforms, Revenue Operations or Sales Operations, Snowflake Cortex, AI-driven data workflows, and Finance or Commission-related datasets.
