Senior Data Engineer – Real Time Analytics

📋 Description

• Hold vital responsibilities in analyzing requirements, designing scalable and low-latency streaming platform solutions, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of essential modules to enable near real-time data solutions for our product.

• Evaluate and convert business requirements into optimized data models suitable for big data applications.

• Detect slow queries and enhance performance for improved efficiency.

• Develop clean and scalable code using Scala, Python, or SQL, while testing and deploying applications and systems.

• Address our most complex data challenges in near real-time by employing optimal data architectures, frameworks, and query techniques, utilizing both structured and unstructured data sources.

• Participate in an engineering team committed to delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions for Aircall clients.

• Engage in product and platform performance optimization and monitor live site operations.

• Guide team members by providing and receiving constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., computer science or mathematics).

• Over 3 years of experience in near real-time analytics.

• More than 5 years of experience with modern programming languages such as Scala, Python, Go, or Typescript.

• Proven experience in designing complex data processing pipelines.

• Familiarity with data modeling (including star schema and dimensional modeling) in AWS Redshift.

• Proficient in query optimization techniques.

• Experience with Kafka is an advantage.

• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining code in production environments.

• A willingness to share your ideas and an open-minded approach to collaboration.
