Senior Data Engineer, Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain an OLAP ETL project utilizing PL/SQL, AWS Glue (Python), and RedShift.

• Act as an Oracle database expert to assist Java and Data Science development teams.

• Create and support additional SQL and PL/SQL code present in the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with data querying languages such as SQL/PL SQL.

• At least 4 years of practical experience with Oracle Database in roles such as Developer, DBA, or Application DBA.

• Demonstrated experience in AI-assisted development.

• AI-coding certifications, such as Claude Code Certified Architect or equivalent.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Preferred: Over 4 years of experience in large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects, including modeling and ETL development.

• Experience with DWH/ETL utilizing Amazon Web Services technologies (DMS, Glue, Redshift, Athena, etc.).

• Familiarity with other columnar or hybrid data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Databricks).

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Experience working on projects that involve cross-functional teams and leaders to develop scalable processes and metrics.

• Ability to articulate business questions and use quantitative methods to derive solutions based on available data.

• Experience in incrementally building data products and managing datasets from various sources.

• Capacity to think strategically, comprehend business strategy, perform consultative business analysis, and apply technical skills to develop insightful and effective data strategies.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.
