Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conceptualization, implementation, and optimization of modern data and analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, Data Factory, Data Engineering, and real-time analytics.

• Development of scalable cloud and data platforms, along with the establishment of efficient ETL/ELT processes for integrating structured and unstructured data sources.

• Design and enhancement of contemporary data models, data pipelines, and self-service analytics solutions.

• Technical solution architecture and responsibility for complex client projects.

• Coordination and alignment of interdisciplinary project teams, stakeholders, and clients in agile project environments utilizing Scrum, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

• Utilization of innovative technologies such as Azure AI and Microsoft Foundry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in the data, analytics, or cloud environment.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure, OneLake, data lakes, and modern data architectures.

• Experience in data engineering, data modeling, solution architecture, and system integration.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Spark/PySpark, Azure AI, AI Foundry, or complex SaaS integrations is an additional advantage.

• Microsoft certifications such as DP-600, DP-700, AZ-305, or AI-102 are welcomed.

• Proficient communication skills in both German and English.

• Residing in Germany and authorized to work here.
