Senior Data Engineer, Investments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement data integration architecture and solutions for our Investments and Hedging delivery teams.

• Create and refine ETL logic utilizing Informatica Data Management Cloud, Snowflake, and various Azure data tools to enhance current and future deployments.

• Oversee the technical elements of data management functions, which include creating, loading, transforming, cleansing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data.

• Work collaboratively with team members and business partners to design technical solutions that effectively address challenges, ensuring they are reusable, scalable, efficient, and maintainable across large datasets, both clean and unclean.

• Engage with various development technologies, including SQL.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other technical teams, both internally and externally, to deliver comprehensive technology solutions.

• Write and develop code to facilitate existing and future deployments.

• Resolve problems independently and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Take responsibility for constructing and executing unit tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s/Bachelor's Degree (preferably in technology, engineering, or a math-related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 4-7 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining real-time data pipelines and analytical solutions.

• At least 2 years of experience in supporting ETL and production data operations (including file processing and data distribution), which involves debugging, addressing production issues, and performing Root Cause Analysis.

• Strong capability in writing SQL queries, Python scripts, and interpreting data models.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL Server, and/or Oracle.

• Experience in constructing data structures, solutions, and products.

• Proven track record in writing automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests for data interfaces and data pipelines.

• Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
