Senior Data Engineer – Integrations, Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate both internal and external systems.

• Develop and oversee integrations among data warehouses, APIs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and marketing platforms.

• Create and enhance data ingestion frameworks for both batch processing and real-time architectures.

• Manage API integrations, webhook frameworks, file-based ingestion, and event-driven pipeline systems.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams to guarantee data is well-structured, accessible, and reliable.

• Enhance observability, monitoring, alerting, and performance across data pipelines and platform integrations.

• Ensure that robust governance, security, and documentation standards are upheld across all integrations.

• Diagnose and resolve data delivery issues, system malfunctions, and performance bottlenecks.

• Assist in the implementation of scalable architectural patterns that can be reused across multiple clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in building and maintaining APIs, webhooks, and platform integrations.

• Strong comprehension of ETL/ELT design patterns and orchestration tools.

• Proficient in cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, Hightouch, Segment, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of event streaming or messaging systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, or SQS.

• Experience working with various source systems, including CRM, CDP, product analytics, and transactional systems.

• Strong SQL and Python skills, with the capability to operate across multiple data environments.

• Experience in creating reusable frameworks, automation, and monitoring processes.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and comfort in navigating complex technical environments.
