Senior Data Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with AI team members to implement data pipelines and machine learning tasks effectively.

• Offer daily support in deploying Python-based ML pipelines and execute data engineering tasks to facilitate AI/ML functionalities.

• Convey results to a varied audience through presentations or reports.

• Provide architectural guidance, technical support, and advisory services to ensure that identity management system technologies are integrated and comply with relevant security standards.

• Assist leadership in engaging with senior executives at a publicly-facing Federal agency while offering expertise in security architecture and other critical domain areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Data/ML Engineering.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a comparable field or equivalent experience.

• An active Secret clearance/T1 background investigation or higher is required.

• Extensive experience with ETL processes, data labeling, and data preparation.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: Cloudera, DataBricks, Snowflake, NiFi, Python, SQL, or Kafka.

• Strong background in designing, developing, and deploying data solutions within classified AWS cloud environments up to IL6+.

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture and services for AI/ML applications, including the operationalization and upkeep of AI/ML models in production.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in relatable terms.
