Senior Data Engineer – GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong emphasis on BigQuery.

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, ideally with a focus on data engineering.

• Capable of negotiating and managing requests, including addressing client escalations.

• Implement and oversee data ingestion processes from ERP systems, non-systematic files, and APIs.

• Create, enhance, and document dimensional data models and analytical solutions within a Lakehouse architecture.

• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and product teams to facilitate advanced analyses.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout the entire data lifecycle.

• Orchestrate and monitor ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud.

• Apply data engineering best practices, including versioning, automation, and testing.

• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong emphasis on BigQuery.

• Solid background with Informatica Cloud for orchestrating data pipelines.

• Strong understanding of analytics environments utilizing Lakehouse architecture.

• Proficient in dimensional modeling for Data Warehouses.

• Experience in ingesting data from ERP systems, non-systematic files, and APIs.

• Advanced SQL skills along with knowledge of performance tuning best practices.

• Experience in ensuring data governance and data security.
