Senior Data Engineer, dbt, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Support and enhancement of processes within a GCP environment;

• Development work utilizing Python;

• Automated pipelines for data ingestion;

• Processing and analyzing substantial volumes of data;

• Streamlining processes to enhance efficiency based on customer needs;

• Data- and fact-driven decision making with accountability;

• Commitment to continuous, shared learning;

• Creation and maintenance of data flows and datasets;

• Development and modeling of databases for dashboards and reports;

• Documentation of developed processes;

• Collaboration to gather and clarify database and variable requirements with the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with customer master data management projects (360-degree customer view);

• Familiarity with Data Services API architecture;

• Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool), particularly dbt Core;

• Practical experience with Jinja, macros, project structure, and dbt packages/modules within dbt;

• Proficiency in advanced SQL;

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB and similar);

• Practical experience in data modeling;

• Experience with Big Data projects;

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery, Dataproc (PySpark), Dataflow, Composer/Airflow, with an advanced understanding of architectures;

• Knowledge of Python, Pub/Sub, Monitoring, Logging, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage;

• Experience with Git;

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience (required).
