Senior Data Engineer – Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust and scalable data pipelines utilizing Apache Spark and cloud-native data services.

• Construct, enhance, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to facilitate analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.

• Execute and oversee data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.

• Guarantee data quality, reliability, and performance across extensive and complex datasets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

• Apply data engineering best practices concerning scalability, security, monitoring, and maintainability.

• Assist in the ongoing enhancement of data architecture, pipeline performance, and operational stability within a cloud environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data engineering or a related technical field.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark is essential.

• Familiarity with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog for data management and governance.

• Strong grasp of data pipeline design, ETL/ELT patterns, and data modeling principles.

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced settings.
