Senior Data Engineer, Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define and establish an enterprise data architecture that aligns with business and investment strategies.

• Design data models and frameworks that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

• Implement data governance, standards, and best practices throughout the organization.

• Lead initiatives for data platform modernization and cloud adoption.

• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Informatica IICS.

• Create and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of data across all pipelines.

• Collaborate with business users (finance, investment, and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.

• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.

• Work alongside BI and analytics teams to facilitate reporting and insights.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.

• Strong expertise in Informatica IICS, covering Data Integration, Data Quality, and Application Integration.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data warehousing, optimization, and performance tuning.

• Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).

• Experience working with cloud platforms.

• Advanced SQL skills with experience in large-scale data processing.

• Proven track record in designing comprehensive data solutions.

• Experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services.

• Understanding of financial data, portfolio analytics, and reporting frameworks.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial contexts.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong leadership, ownership, and mentoring abilities.

• Strategic thinker with the capability for hands-on execution.
