Senior Data Engineer – Azure, Databricks, Data Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data engineering solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

• Create and build optimized data models for analytical environments and large data volumes.

• Develop data integration and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.

• Generate and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

• Engage in the design of scalable and efficient data architectures.

• Implement processes for loading, transforming, and utilizing data across various business areas.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and availability of information.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.

• Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement and automation of data processes.

• Document developments, processes, and solutions implemented.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Proven experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database.

• Strong experience in designing and building data models.

• Experience in defining tables, complex relationships, query optimization, and stored procedures.

• Experience in developing pipelines and complex data transformations in Databricks.

• Advanced SQL proficiency.

• Experience with Python for data processing and transformation.

• Experience working on projects using Agile methodologies.

• Minimum B2 level of English.

• Ability to work independently in complex data engineering environments.
