Senior Data Engineer – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable and dependable data pipelines and infrastructure.

• Develop ETL/ELT workflows tailored for extensive data processing.

• Build and manage data warehousing solutions effectively.

• Analyze and process large datasets to facilitate business insights.

• Maintain data integrity, quality, and governance standards.

• Enhance the performance of data collection, storage, and processing.

• Develop dashboards, templates, and visualizations for key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with both business and technical teams to ascertain data requirements.

• Design and implement experiments to validate data-driven solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Skilled in Python or Scala.

• Experience with the AWS cloud platform.

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Background in enterprise-scale environments.
