This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement the data infrastructure essential for enabling data-driven decision-making solutions.
• Develop and execute intricate data orchestration models, manage metadata, and enhance reporting tools for users of data science and ML products.
• Serve as the organization's authority on data administration, management, and scalable data systems.
• Write optimized, scalable SQL queries that operate on large-scale, diverse data warehouses.
• Collaborate with the Product and Enterprise Engineering system teams to organize source systems for reporting use across the enterprise.
• Assist in maintaining CDC pipelines that drive customer reporting.
• Contribute to the development of front-end applications that present analytical data sets throughout the enterprise.
• Possess a minimum of four years of experience in data-related roles and at least two years in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with common analytics tools (e.g., Stitch/Fivetran, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Dagster).
• Strong understanding of AWS data infrastructure systems and Terraform.
• Adopt a system-oriented and software engineering approach to Data Engineering, aiming to create frameworks that manage data and reduce the reliance on custom queries.
• Extensive knowledge in developing dimensional and fact models in a modern data context.
• A passion for enhancing the developer experience with data, with a commitment to empowering the organization through data capabilities.
• Aiming to lead in security, anonymization, and compliance management within the realm of data warehousing.
• Willingness to leverage AI to enhance skills and effectiveness, demonstrating curiosity, a readiness to learn, and sound judgment in the responsible application of AI to boost efficiency and impact.
