Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain the comprehensive data platform.

• Assist both internal and external clients with technical tasks related to data.

• Oversee planning, documentation, and coding responsibilities.

• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (relevant experience may be accepted in lieu).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering.

• Strong expertise in SQL and the Snowflake Data Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with Data Loading, Data Transformation, Data Extraction, Sharing, and Replication.

• Knowledge of security features such as access control, data masking, and encryption.

• Experience in data modeling across various sources and formats.

• Background in Ontology development at a warehouse level.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.) for data processing and ETL scripting.

• Capacity to support and mentor others in areas of expertise.

• Ability to acquire and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance.

• Enthusiasm for technology and collaboration with distributed teams.
