Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable data pipelines utilizing Python, Spark, and Airflow to transfer data from various applications into our data lake.

• Collaborate and influence the long-term technology strategy and innovation roadmaps within the data engineering domain.

• Offer technical leadership, mentorship, and support for the growth of junior team members as we expand.

• Work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance data generation methodologies.

• Oversee the complete life cycle of developing new features and pipelines.

• Generate ideas and contribute to shared tools and standards in data engineering.

• Establish and advocate for data engineering best practices throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data.

• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (preferably Python, Java, or Scala).

• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Airflow).

• Experience in data modeling, data architecture design, and ETL pipelines.

• Knowledge of batching and streaming data infrastructure.

• Experience with data visualization tools (such as Looker, Tableau, etc.).

• Enjoy working in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
