Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various teams to design and develop scalable data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.

• Create ETL/ELT processes utilizing Databricks, Python, and SQL.

• Ingest, transform, and prepare data effectively.

• Enhance data workflows for optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain data models, tables, and integrations on cloud platforms.

• Work alongside data analysts and scientists to provide clean and accessible data for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Monitor data pipelines and resolve technical issues as they arise.

• Contribute to the development of internal documentation and best practices.

• Stay updated on emerging Databricks features and industry trends to foster continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in data engineering, data transformation, or analytics engineering.

• Strong skills in Python and SQL.

• Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines within the Databricks environment.

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including their compute, storage, and data services.

• A degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent practical technical experience.

• A strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and producing clean, maintainable software.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote work setting.
