This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collaborate closely with business units to identify their needs and convert requirements into scalable data solutions that align with the organization's goals.
• Conduct requirements gathering and chart business processes and data flows among systems.
• Establish and validate business rules, metrics, KPIs, and corporate indicators.
• Design and refine data models for Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse environments.
• Develop dimensional modeling strategies, including facts, dimensions, granularity, and relationships.
• Create data architectures utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Power BI.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability throughout data pipelines.
• Set standards for data ingestion, transformation, quality, and availability across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Act as a technical resource for Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams.
• Assist in solution implementation, ensuring compliance with architectural and business definitions.
• Generate documentation for data models, business rules, and corporate indicators.
• Strong experience in data modeling for analytical environments (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Lakehouse), encompassing dimensional modeling, defining facts, dimensions, metrics, indicators, and granularity.
• Proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into data solutions, including the definition and standardization of corporate metrics and indicators.
• Experience in data architecture projects, integrating multiple information sources, and overseeing data governance, quality, and traceability.
• Ability to consult effectively with both business areas and technical teams.
• Proficient in Advanced SQL, Data Warehouse and/or Lakehouse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Power BI, Semantic Modeling, and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
• Differentiators:
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Familiarity with Data Vault.
• Experience in defining a Single Source of Truth (SSOT).
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience with data catalog and governance tools.
• Involvement in projects modernizing Data Warehouses to Lakehouse architectures.
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate certification or equivalent.
• Remote work – Monday to Friday (09:00 to 18:00)
