Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop both streaming and batch data pipelines for effective data integration, ingestion, data quality management (quality gating), transformations, and auditing.

• Conduct feature engineering and perform data exploration tasks.

• Work closely with business and operations teams to ensure alignment on requirements, as well as to request and standardize waveform/sensor data.

• Construct and uphold the Gold data layer, key KPIs, and PoC evaluation frameworks.

• Establish and maintain robust engineering practices, which include CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), version control (Git), unit and integration testing, and comprehensive documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with Azure and the Databricks platform.

• Strong background in using MLflow for lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated success in implementing production-ready engineering practices (CI/CD, IaC, Git, unit/integration testing).

• Senior-level engineering mindset with the capability to work independently in a complex data environment.

• Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English.
