Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Design and create ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and DBT.

• Develop and sustain data integration workflows from diverse data sources to Snowflake.

• Craft efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation purposes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines for improved performance and reliability.

• Uphold and implement data quality, governance, and documentation standards.

• Partner with data analysts, architects, and DevOps teams within a cloud-native environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering positions utilizing Azure and Snowflake.

• Strong expertise with Azure Cloud Platform services.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating and automating data pipelines.

• Skilled in SQL for data analysis and transformation tasks.

• Practical experience with Snowflake and SnowSQL for data warehousing solutions.

• Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation within the warehouse.

• Experience in cloud-based data environments handling large-scale datasets.

• Base salary range of $90,000–$110,000.

• Possibility of compensation exceeding the posted range for higher-cost regions such as California, New York, and New Jersey.
