Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert business rules into actionable data processing workflows

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines

• Oversee both structured and unstructured databases

• Assist teams with queries, data extraction, and the creation of dashboards

• Work collaboratively with other departments to align technical and business requirements with data-driven solutions

• Develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines (ETL/ELT)

• Continuously optimize SQL queries and data processes

• Provide support to internal teams with data extractions, queries, and analyses

• Organize and document data flows and processes

• Execute routines for database updates and synchronization

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines

• Proficiency in Python and SQL

• Familiarity with code version control systems like Git

• Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS

• Proven expertise with AWS Lambda

• Understanding of data modeling principles

• Strong communication skills coupled with a desire to learn

• Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools (Metabase, Power BI)

• Preferred: Interest in Machine Learning or AI
