Azure Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Work as an Azure Data Engineer on an international banking sector project.

• Utilize Azure cloud services, including Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, ADLS, and ADF.

• Implement Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Collaborate with Python and PySpark for Synapse.

• Apply security controls and access management using RBAC and ABAC.

• Engage in business analysis and communicate with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Residency in Spain is essential.

• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Experience with Azure SQL Server Database.

• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Fundamental understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

• Proficient in Python and PySpark (for Synapse, tech-forward).

• Excellent communication and business analysis abilities.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.

• DP-900 certification is highly valued.

• Experience with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).

• Experience with ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control).

• Basic knowledge of SAP BW is a plus.
